All about me
Drawing has been my passion since I was a dorky little kid with buck teeth and glasses. Since I stunk at sports, most of my spare time was spent drawing. I drew hot rods and cartoons on everything – notebooks, church bulletins, napkins, the bottom of my tennis shoes. I did some of my best work on my blue jeans. I couldn’t help myself. I loved to draw.
My inspiration came from the classics – Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry, Rocky and Bullwinkle. I also love cars and the guys that designed them, like George Barris, Big Daddy Ed Roth, Tom Daniels, and the great GM designers, Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell. From the world of commercial illustration, my rock stars include Norman Rockwell, J. C. Leyendecker, and Haddon Sundblom.
After studying Transportation and Industrial Design at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California, I developed a design-driven approach to visual storytelling that continues to influence my work today.
I have helped brands, agencies, and creative teams visualize ideas before they become reality. As a freelance illustrator and senior concept artist, I specialize in experiential design, environmental graphics, entertainment stage sets, commercial illustration, and large-scale murals.
My clients have included Disney, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, American Airlines, AT&T, Frito-Lay, Louis Vuitton, The Wall Street Journal, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Freeman, Omnicom agencies, and Gensler Architects. In addition to concept development and illustration, I have designed and painted large-scale murals and immersive installations for luxury retailers, corporate brands, and public spaces, including projects for Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus, and NFL legend Tom Brady.
Whether it's an early napkin sketch or a finished piece of artwork, I truly enjoy helping clients visualize ideas, tell stories, and create experiences that connect with people.
